How Fluid Are We? Gender, the Body, and Us (4/20)
We are told that our gender is fluid. How true is this? What is the reality and purpose of our bodies? Is there any truth to "fluidity"? What does any of this have to do with God? Angela Franks will present a theology of the gendered body and discuss the truth and the limits of the idea of "fluidity."
There will be an opportunity for live Q&A with Dr. Angela Franks and other panelists from Saint John's Seminary.
Called to be Co-Workers | Reflections on Lay Ministry (5/1)
For several decades and in growing numbers, lay men and women have been undertaking a wide variety of roles in Church ministries. Many of these roles presume a significant degree of preparation, formation, and professional competence.
We hope you will be able to join us for these reflections that illustrate the mission of co-responsibility for the Church today and see how Saint John's Seminary prepares lay leaders for ministry in the Church. Speakers include Ansel Augustine D.Min, Andreas Widmer MAM '09, and more. Please encourage your parish groups and ministries to attend.

Annual Golf Tournament (5/24)
The 29th Annual Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, May 24th, at The Weston Golf Club. This premier charity event is held to benefit the educational program for the seminarians. Tuition covers only half the cost of educating a seminarian and the proceeds from this tournament will help bridge the gap and keep the cost of educating them affordable. Provide spiritual consolation and recovery resource information to the afflicted and their families, and you will work with your pastor to develop (or supplement) a recovery ministry that fits the needs of your parish. iTHIRST’s Spiritual Companion program is a 48-hour interactive and engaging virtual training program, enabling you to participate from the comfort of your home.
