A new podcast to help men discerning the call to priesthood and for those supporting a discerner’s journey. Msgr. William Fay will explore questions that men may encounter when considering a call to serve God as a priest. Themes will include discernment, family life, admission to the Seminary, seminary life, personal struggles, getting back to studies and financial concerns, to name a few.

Faith Formation Leader Mentor Program
The faith formation mentoring program provides a great opportunity for leaders throughout our archdiocese to share knowledge, broaden and strengthen relationships, and support and encourage one another in ministry. We provide information on expectations for the program and suggested conversation topics and host fun leadership forums at the midpoint and end of the yearlong program. Forming Disciples in Mission
This workshop is designed to give you the tools to understand the New Evangelization, embrace living as an intentional disciple & become comfortable sharing your personal witness to form disciples in your family, neighborhood, workplace, & parish. Advanced registration required. This workshop is free to attend if you are a member of the Archdiocese of Boston. If you are outside the Archdiocese, the cost is $25. Parish Created for Love Update
The mandate to implement the Created for Love safe environment curriculum for 6th through 8th graders continues: https://www.csoboston.org/about/CFL. Colleen Donohoe, in the Catholic Schools Office, remains responsible for the implementation of this curriculum in archdiocesan schools. The Secretariat for Evangelization & Discipleship and the Office of Pastoral Support and Child Protection are now responsible for the implementation of this curriculum in archdiocesan parishes.
These two departments are jointly working on updating this curriculum for parishes and will provide more information in the months ahead. We will provide updated child and family materials, a leader guide, and translations of the material in other languages. Grateful Discipleship Program
A Program for parishes that encourages parishioners to make a yearly commitment. Impacts including seeing immediate increases in commitments of prayer, service and sharing. Planning and implementation of this Program is provided to parishes at no cost in 2021.
