The new Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, has been issued by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and will be required for all employees hired on or after November 1, 2023. All previous versions of Form I-9 will be invalid for new hires as of that date.
