IN KEEPING WITH an ancient practice of the Holy Church, the moveable feasts of the coming year are announced on the Epiphany of the Lord. It is sung immediately following the Gospel (and before the homily). The Metropolitan Tribunal will offer a course for pastoral associates and permanent deacons who assist parishioners with filing their petitions for a marriage annulment. The course will be offered at the Pastoral Center in Braintree MA every Thursday from February 22 to March 14 and, after the Easter break, from April 11 to May 2, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Pastoral associates, pastoral assistants, and permanent deacons are encouraged to attend this course to respond with the most up to date information about questions related to marriage issues. Training for the Adaptive Budgeting program will be scheduled for four months beginning in January 2024-April 2024.
